Bassem is a graduate of computer science and a BS degree holder. In addition he is a recipient of numerous Trainings. His wide-ranging certifications and trainings include PMP training and Cisco certification.

Further, Bassem is a Network Associate – CISSP and a Security Systems professional with extensive international exposure and experience, possessing a pristine career record, focused on systems infrastructure.

Bassem’s career started in 1993 as a System Engineer, with MDS. With the Qatar market opening up he served 8 years in the capacity of Technical Manager and led the team as a Solutions Consultant building and developing the local market on behalf of MDS.

Following this tenure Bassem moved to the South African market as a Senior Infrastructure Manager with a leading South African Telecom company. Retuning to Qatar after a two-year stint Bassem worked as IT Infrastructure Manager and Acting IT Director for the nation’s leading education body Qatar Foundation.

It is under his leadership that Qatar’s Education City system infrastructure was developed covering all campuses and other associated entities tied to Qatar Foundation.
